Recipe:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: For better taste, check the Blended Onion recipe in the related videos. Start by peeling the carrots and cutting them into small cubes. Also, cut the spring onions, separating the white part from the green.

  2. Cook Rice: Add the rice to boiling water; it will cook like pasta.

  3. Cook Carrots and Peas: In a pan, combine the carrots and frozen peas with some water. Close the lid and let them cook for 4 minutes on high heat.

  4. Prepare Peta and Ham: Cut the peta and ham into cubes. They are usually available pre-cut at the supermarket.

  5. Cook Meat: Turn the stove to high heat, add some sunflower oil, and add the cubed peta and ham. For added flavor, mix in a little of the blended onions.

  6. Add Vegetables: After 2 minutes, add the cooked vegetables and the white parts of the spring onions. Let them cook together for 1 minute.

  7. Mix Eggs: Add more sunflower oil, crack in the eggs, and mix everything together as shown in the video.

  8. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked rice, all the vegetables, and soy sauce. Let them cook together for 2 minutes.

  9. Final Touches: Add the green parts of the spring onions and more soy sauce if desired.

  10. Serve: Enjoy your Cantonese Rice!
