Recipe:
- Toast the bread: Turn the stove to high heat. Add a little oil to the pan and place the bread in. Toast until one side is golden, then flip it over. Add a bit more oil on the other side and toast for another minute.
- Fry the eggs: Lower the heat to medium and add more oil to the pan. Crack the eggs into the pan without mixing them. Season with salt and pepper, then cover with a lid.
- Cook the eggs: After 1 minute, carefully pour some hot oil from the pan over the top of the eggs to help them cook evenly. When the bottom of the eggs starts to turn golden brown (usually after about 2-3 minutes), turn off the heat.
- Serve: Your fried eggs are ready! Serve them alongside the toasted bread for a quick breakfast.
