Recipe:
- Clean the mushrooms: Begin by cleaning any dirt off the mushrooms. Use a knife to remove any black or damaged parts. If your mushrooms are relatively clean, you may not need to remove much.
- Prepare the garlic: Peel three garlic cloves and crush them using the side of a knife, as shown in the video.
- Chop the parsley: Wash the parsley and dry it. Remove the leaves and chop them finely. A quick tip: forming the leaves into a ball will make chopping them easier.
- Start cooking: Turn the stove to high heat. Add a generous amount of olive oil and then the garlic. Cook until the garlic becomes golden.
- Add the mushrooms: Once the garlic is golden, add the mushrooms. Cook them for about 12 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes.
- Season: After 4 minutes, season the mushrooms with salt and pepper. Continue cooking and mixing every 2 minutes.
- Check doneness: When the mushrooms turn a rich brown color, they’re ready.
