Recipe:

  1. Prepare the batter: In a bowl, add flour, 3 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla powder, and baking powder. Crack in the egg and mix. Then, add the milk and a pinch of salt, mixing everything together for about 40 seconds until smooth.
  2. Let it rest: Allow the batter to rest for around 30 minutes for optimal results.
  3. Cook the pancakes: After the batter has rested, turn on the stove to high heat and oil up your pan. Once the pan is very hot, reduce the heat to low and pour in the pancake batter.
  4. Flip the pancake: When bubbles start to form and the bottom is cooked (after about 1 minute), flip the pancake to the other side. Let it cook for another 30 seconds.
  5. Repeat: Before pouring more batter, re-oil the pan. Repeat this process for as many pancakes as you’d like.
