Recipe:

  1. Prepare the sausages: Roll the sausages to give them a nice shape. Peel off the outer casing.

  2. Smash the sausages: Use a flat surface (like your hand, a plate, or a pan) to gently smash the sausages, flattening them slightly.

  3. Heat the pan: Turn on the stove to high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil to the pan.

  4. Cook the sausages: Once the oil is hot, add the smashed sausages to the pan. Allow them to cook until they form a nice crust, then flip them over.

  5. Deglaze with wine: After flipping, add some white wine or your chosen alcohol to the pan. The amount isn’t fixed—just pour enough to create some steam and flavor.

  6. Finish cooking: After about one minute, your sausages should be cooked through.

  7. Serve: Remove the sausages from the pan and enjoy!
