Recipe:
- Heat the pan: Turn the stove to high heat and add olive oil. Wait until the oil starts to slightly smoke.
- Cook the steak: Place the steak in the pan, season with pepper, and let it cook for 4 minutes (depending on thickness). Do not move it during this time.
- Flip the steak: Flip the steak and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Add flavor: Two minutes before finishing, add salt, pepper, garlic, butter, and rosemary (optional). Let the butter melt, then baste the steak by spooning the melted butter over it.
- Finish cooking: Flip the steak one more time, let it cook briefly, then remove from the pan.
