This is a recipe for 2 people! Add seasoning.

Recipe: 

  1. Prepare the fennel: Chop off the ends of the fennel bulbs and slice them into medium pieces.

  2. Steam the fennel: Place the sliced fennel in a pan, add water until it covers about half of the fennel, and turn the heat to high. Cover the pan with a lid.

  3. Check for doneness: After steaming for a while, poke the fennel with a knife. If it easily penetrates the fennel, it’s ready.

  4. Season and serve: Season the steamed fennel with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
